Our Preschool in New York City “Gold Material” was established in May of 2004 to fill a need for a high quality early childhood education. In 2 years we opened brand new full day Child Care Program for kids 2 to 6 years of age. In a period of six years, Gold Material Preschool opened 2 new Branches in New York City, in the borough of Manhattan. This growth is directly attributed to the positive development that parents have witnessed during their children’s preschool attendance at Gold Material. In our Child Day Care Center the approach to education is a blend of the best practices identified with the cornerstone method developed by Maria Montessori. In developing its methodology, New York City preschool curriculum has taken into account the importance of a child’s early formative years, the cognitive phases of a child’s development, the benefits of learning through concrete experiences, and through hands on experience.

At our Preschools in New York City we focus on the process of learning and not just the product. Therefore, the work that the children do may not be perfect but it is what they have learned, the comprehension and the growth they go through in “doing” is what is important.
